GEFES RSEF 2020 Best Featured Article of the Year
Javier Argüello-Luengo awarded for the paper “Analogue quantum chemistry simulation” published in Nature
GEFES, the Condensed Matter Physics Division of the Spanish Royal Physics Society distinguishes, on a bi-annual basis, the scientific work carried out by its youngest members by making a special mentions of their work as demonstrated in the form of articles published in prestigious international journals. Two article are selected each semester by an Evaluation Commission appointed for this purpose by the GEFES Governing Board, which takes into account not only the quality of the article but, most especially, the specific contribution of the requesting author to the work presented.
The "GEFES Article of the year" is chosen annually from among the articles selected as "Featured GEFES Article".
Congratulations to Javier Argüello Luengo, ”la Caixa” Foundation Fellow and PhD candidate in the Theoretical Quantum-Nano Photonics group led by ICREA Prof. at ICFO Dr. Darrick Chang for his work in the paper “Analogue quantum chemistry simulation” published in Nature which has received the prize GEFES 2020 Best Featured Article of the Year .
