About the course
The course will consist of an introduction of what we understand by Research Integrity and its importance, followed by some examples of research misconduct or questionable research practices and how to avoid them. Concepts like data management, authorship, bias or conflicts of interest will be discussed. The seminar will include some theoretical content and a couple of hands on interactive activities.
About the trainer
Maruxa Martínez-Campos is a biologist (PhD, Cambridge University) who moved to ’the other side’ of research to work as an editor for the open access journal "Genome Biology". For over 10 years she has worked at PRBB on communication. She currently coordinates the Good scientific practice working group and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee at the PRBB.
