Entanglement & Quantum Correlations
ICFO
Entangled states and the correlations obtained when performing measurements on them are key elements for the construction of quantum information protocols. The lectures explain the main concepts and tools used to describe entanglement and quantum correlations. The first two lectures focus on entanglement theory and follow a resource-theory approach. The third and fourth lectures are devoted to Bell’s theorem and the characterisation of correlations in classical, quantum physics, and possible generalisations of it.
