ICFOnians for Women in Science Month
Each year, from February 11th —the International Day of Women and Girls in Science —to March 8, International Women’s Day, the ICFO community comes together to mark Women in Science Month. Over these weeks, we create opportunities for shared reflection, conversation, and learning around women in science: their contributions, the challenges they face, and the role our community plays in supporting scientific vocations.
Women in Science Month was born from a clear need—to confront persistent gender disparities, particularly in leadership—and it continues as an evolving space for dialogue, visibility, and collective responsibility.
We warmly encourage all ICFOnians to take part in the discussions and activities organized throughout the month. This initiative is a key part of ICFO’s Diversity and Inclusion program and reflects our commitment to cultivating a working environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and where everyone can contribute fully to advancing complex scientific challenges.
