Executive Team

The Executive Team provides strategic leadership and overall guidance to fulfill ICFO’s mission.

It was established by ICFO’s Director, ICREA Research Professor Oriol Romero-Isart, and approved by the Board of Trustees in October 2024. The Executive Team currently consists of five positions. In addition to the Director, who leads the team, these include:

· Vice Director of Innovation, Sponsored Research, and Public Engagement (VD ISRPE)

· Vice Director of People, Education, and Culture (VD PEC)

· Chief Financial and Compliance Officer (CFO)

· Chief Infrastructure Officer (CIO)

At present, legal responsibility for ICFO lies with the Director and the CFO. The current team members are Dr. Silvia Carrasco (VD ISRPE), Dr. Robert Sewell (VD PEC), Ms. Mercè Carrasco (CFO), and Mr. Carlos Dengra (CIO).
