Ultracold Dipolar Gases
Phases of bosonic dipolar molecules in an optical lattices
The group studies various aspects of physics of ultracold gases, which can be achieved with ultra-cold atoms with large magnetic moment, or hetero-nuclear molecules with large electric dipole moments.
The main goal concerns the theory of dipolar gases in optical lattices, but we study also trapped gases, quantum droplets etc. We look into phase diagrams of these systems, especially the effects of higher orbitals and interaction induced effects in the strongly correlated regime. More recently, we study quantum dynamics and quantum correlations in such systems
